Persistent failures of protective coatings on steel structures, as reported by NACE, are primarily attributed to the following three causes:

  • IC is a solventless 100% solids product, which will not shrink or curl at edges or the radius of weld beads and has a bond strength to steel in excess of 2800 psi.
